Mission & Objectives

MISSION
The mission of the Polish-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida is to foster business relations and partnerships in order to increase trade and investments between Poland and South Florida, and become gateway to European Community for our American members.

OBJECTIVES
The main objectives of the Chamber are to keep its members and the community at large informed and up-to-date on political, social, economic and technological developments that may affect trade and investments on both countries.

HOW THE CHAMBER OPERATES
The Chamber is an independent non-profit organization, run by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of representatives from member companies. The Board elects officers, determines Chamber policies and nominates committee chairpersons. Day-to-day operations are carried out by the Executive Director.

Committees
As a member of the Polish-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, you have the option of becoming a volunteer in the area of your interest with minimal time commitment. Just check the Committee you would like to participate and  fill out the form below. All committee participants must be members of the Chamber.  

POLISH ENTREPRENEURS ABROAD - Chairperson:
  • Coordinate the needs and requests that micro, small, medium and large Polish Companies, based in the United States, have in terms of operations and financial support

BROWARD - Chairperson: Katarzyna Zielinski

  • Creates events focusing on the needs of the area
  • Membership drives
  • Develops relationships with other chambers of commerce and local organizations

EUROPEAN COMMUNITY / POZNAN - Chairman: Slawomir Szymczak
- Executive Director of Events & Marketing: Michal W. Jarosz
  • Help American based members to establish business relationship in Poland and European Community
  • Create and develop value added workshops for members
  • Identify workshop topics and speakers
  • Responsible for planning incoming & outgoing trade missions (in conjunction with the Trade Committee)
  • Develop and promote partnerships and opportunities with trade fairs and organizations in Poland for benefit of PACCF members
  • Develop workshops/breakfasts for PACCF members to promote their business in Poland
  • Increase membership of Polish companies
  • Responsible for obtaining sponsorship for new events and functions
  • Create and evaluate the need for additional sub-committees
  • Create and develop value added benefits/programs for members

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - Chairman:                                       / Co-Chair:
  • To secure funds for projects already approved by the Board of Directors
  • Propose New Projects to take effect in 2011

  • Supervises all PACCF publications 
  • Issues press releases regarding chamber functions; distributes transcripts of speeches, etc.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY - Chairperson:
  • Raises awareness of Charities in Poland
  • Promotes programs developed by the PACCF members for Charitable Organizations
TRADE - Vice-President:                    / Co-Chair:
  • Create and develop value added workshops for members
  • All events must close with a surplus or break-even
  • Identify workshop topics and speakers
  • Aid the Programs Committee in identifying Luncheon Speakers
  • Responsible for planning incoming & outgoing trade missions
  • Participation in bilateral and regional trade negotiations events - Develop and promote partnerships and opportunities with trade fairs in Poland and US for benefit of PACCF members
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS - Chairman: Marcin Ladowski          / Co-Chair: Agata Sulej
  • Attract new members to the Polish-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida;
  • Increase YPC's awareness;
  • Increase Cross Marketing;
  • Provide educational resources through workshops;
